Chris Philpott, a founding member of Transition Leamington in the United Kingdom and the author of a new book called “Green Spirituality” is coming to Verdun on Sunday, September 16.
He’s a guest of the new Verdun en Transition group who are working on getting a Transition initiative underway in that borough. Chris will speak about his experience encouraging local living. The talk will be held in pavilion A at the Marcel Giroux Community Centre (5955, rue Bannantyne) this Sunday, September 16 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. A donation to defray the costs of holding this event would be appreciated.
