LaSalle and Verdun will both pass important budget items during extraordinary meetings held prior to their regular meetings this evening. Public notice about both meetings occurred in mid-August.
The borough of LaSalle adopted its three-year capital expenditure program at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night. It’s regular borough meeting followed at 7:30 p.m.. Both meetings took place in Borough Hall, 55 Avenue Dupras, LaSalle.
The borough of Verdun will also adopt its three-year capital expenditure program at 6 p.m. tonight. The regular meeting will follow at 7 p.m. Both meetings are being held outdoors in a tent in the J.A. Monsignor Richard park at the junction of Desmarchais Street and LaSalle Boulevard.
