Anyone living in Souvenir-Labelle, Fabreville and Saint-Vincent-de-Paul will want to pay attention to official notices announcing consultations during the holiday season.
Laval councillors announced proposed changes to four zones during their meeting on November 3. The actual motions announcing proposed changes will take place at a future council meeting.
- The first change concerns land bordering Pie-IX between Saint-Louis and Honoré-Mercier streets.
- The second change affects land next to Curé-Labelle south of Dagenais West.
- The third concerns land north of Trembles Avenue and west of Pelicans.
- The fourth concerns the lengthening of Le Carrefour Boulevard between Jean-Béraud, Chomedey, Saint-Martin west and Albert-Murphy.
At the same November 3 meeting, councillors created a new deputy director position in their major projects division and appointed Marie-Claude Le Sauteur to the post.
They added special taxes to pay for the purchase of expropriated land for road improvement and rain water collection in Val-des-Arbres and sewage repair in Auteuil.
Council also approved the cycling path project between Oka and Mount-Saint-Hilaire.
