Recounts Affirm Serge Declos and Josée Troilo as Borough Councillors for Cecil P. Newman District
Serge Declos and Josée Troilo, two Équipe Barbe Team – Pro action LaSalle members, will sit as borough councillors for the Cecil P. Newman district.
Declos is a real estate broker with Sutton; Troilo is a real estate agent with RE/MAX.
Yves Saindon, the Returning Officer for Montréal declared the two officially elected after a recount in front of a judge yesterday.
After the recount, Declos had 69 votes more than Anju Dhillon, a candidate with Équipe Denis Coderre pour Montréal.
Troilo received 19 votes more than Dino Masanotti, a candidate with Équipe Denis Coderre pour Montréal.
The count on election night declared both councillors elected with 59 votes more than their closest competitors.
