Véronique Pelletier, Option nationale’s candidate in Marguerite-Bourgeoys answered several of my questions by email.

Here’s her basic bio:

Véronique Pelletier, Option nationale’s candidate in Marguerite-Bourgeoys, has travelled in more than 40 countries around the world, and certainly knows how to adapt herself to different cultures. Her tolerance and empathy testify of the richness of the experience she brought back.

Her curiosity for others brought her to Burkina Faso where she worked with the humanitarian organisation OXFAM-Québec for 6 months in 2011. Since then, she continued her collaboration with OXFAM,  animating workshops on various subjects related to equality and justice in Québec’s high schools.

She has a degree in journalism and a Masters in communication. She is proud to be a candidate for Option nationale,  a party that meets all her political and personal convictions: justice and equality in an independent Quebec, where tolerance and respect of all the cultures contribute to its diversity and wealth.

1. Do you have candidates in Marquette and Marguerite-Bourgeoys yet?

Yes!

2. How will your candidates connect with voters in their ridings during that time?

Véronique and her team went to different associations to meet with citizens and discuss about local and provincial issues since the beginning of the campain. She will be present at the Festival Expressions artistiques d’ici et d’ailleurs on August 23rd and at a debate at the CEGEP André-Laurendeau on August 27th. Véronique will continue to meet with citizens, walking around the different neighborhoods of the district and being very active on the web. We will do our best to go to the people in any way we can.

3. Will any of them be participating in local debates? If so, when?
Yes, at the CEGEP André-Laurendeau on Monday August 27th from 11h30 to 1h30 p.m.
