Nadeau&#8217;s quirky humour and Barlow&#8217;s calm demeanour have a way of making any subject come alive. Their love for France and their desire to explain French behaviour to everyone else will very certainly be infectious too. The University Club chef is even getting into the spirit with an assortment of\u00a0French wines and canap\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t read Bonjour Effect yet, and am planning to get my copy at the event tonight. It already has received some great attention though, since Molly Young gave it a very <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/05\/22\/books\/review\/in-the-know.html?smid=fb-share&amp;_r=1\">positive mention\u00a0in the New York Times Magazine<\/a>. Young said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The authors clearly had a ball researching the book, and their glee is infectious. The writing is as light as it is substantive, and if that sounds like a contradiction, I would refer you to a souffl\u00e9.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I urge you to join us.
